You could have a steam train

If you'd just lay down your tracks
You could have an aeroplane flying
If you bring your blue sky back

Sledgehammer - Peter Gabriel

A sledgehammer is a tool that consists of a large, flat head attached to a lever (or handle). The head is typically made of metal. The sledgehammer can apply more impulse than other hammers due to its large size. Along with the mallet, it shares the ability to distribute force over a wide area. This is in contrast to other types of hammer, which concentrate force in a relatively small area.

Sledgehammers are often used in construction work for breaking through drywall or masonry walls. Sledgehammers are also used when substantial force is necessary to dislodge* a stuck object. Another common use is for driving fence posts into the ground.

* To remove or force out from a position or dwelling previously occupied; to remove (something) from a previously fixed position.
